Evaluation blended learning

The evaluation system of the blended learning modules is exactly the same as that of all other modules i.e. the exam content as well as the scoring is identical to that of the regular courses within the same level.

The exam includes a test of each of the four skills in view of the objectives defined in the curriculum.

The scoring of the different components is as follows:

Total score: 100 marks

1 Oral exam: 50 marks:

• 1.1 Listening comprehension: 10 marks

• 1.2 Oral exam: 40 marks

2 Written exam: 50 marks

• 2.1 Reading comprehension: 10 marks

• 2.2 Writing: 10 marks

• 2.3 Linguistic skills (notions, functions and grammar): 30 marks

In order to be allowed to move up to the next module students need a total score of 60% and 50% for the total of both the oral and the written exam.

There are no resits.

Students who successfully complete the blended learning course obtain a certificate: Breakthrough (A1) on completion of the first module, Waystage (A2) on completion of the second module.
