Learn English in Dublin

The ingredients of a Davidsfonds Culture Trip immediately appealed to us: the guidance, the cultural experience and the excellent lodging and meals. We loved having conversations on site, reading information and going out to restaurants.

Centrum voor Levende Talen (CLT), Davidsfonds Cultuurreizen, and Davidsfonds Academie have joined forces again to offer a unique experience: a combination of language learning and travel.

From Wednesday 28 May 2025 till Sunday 1 June 2025, our colleague Karlien Van Thielen will take you to Dublin and surroundings.

Target group?

Intermediate and advanced students of English (level 4 and up).

Programme

• Prior to the trip
  • you follow 3 preparatory language sessions
    • on Saturday morning 10, 17 and 24 May
    • online or on campus in Leuven (as you prefer)
  • you can join the webinar 'Smaakmaker Dublin' with Bart Van Thielen on Saturday 15 March 2025 from 10:30 till 12:00.

  • an engaging programme entirely in English
  • Day 1 : Brussels - Dublin - Kilkenny - Carlow
    Day 2: Wicklow Mountains - Glendalough - Powerscourt - Dublin
    Day 3: Dublin key landmarks - Kilmainham Gaol
    Day 4: Howth Head cliff walk  - free afternoon programme
    Day 5: Trinity College Dublin - spare time - Brussels
