What aids can I use if I have a (learning) disability?

All students with a disability (functional impairment, chronic disease, learning disability) are welcome in our language centre. We strive to create equal opportunities for everyone.

The aids that are available for people with disabilities in adult education centres are:

  • employing the services of
    • an interpreter of the Flemish sign language AND/OR
    • a speech-to-text reporter
  • refunding the copies of fellow students' notes
  • adapting course materials to your needs (transcription into braille, enlarged copies, digital conversions, large print)

Would you like to use these aids?

Please contact the director of the CLT.

We can grant you special arrangements only when presented with medical certificates/reports and in consultation with the teacher.

Would you like to take a language course at the CLT?

We assess each situation individually.

It is imperative that students with disabilities should achieve the learning objectives set in the course they wish to take.
