Together with the other CVOs of Katholiek Onderwijs Vlaanderen, we are committed to sharing and expanding our expertise during these Erasmus+ mobilities.

Colleagues Lieve (NT2 & ICT) and Willemijn (NT2) participated in a 3-day outdoor learning event in Norway.
Liesbeth (management team) and Anna (schakelteam, Spanish teacher) attended the "Social skills in blended learning" course in Paphos, Cyprus. They worked on themes such as station rotation, flipped learning, outdoor learning and gamification.

From December 10 to 12, 2024, an inspiring KA1 Erasmus+ mobility took place in Kaunas, Lithuania, called "Potential of AI in Adult Education". Colleagues Lieve (ICT and NT2) and Paul (data management) attended a three-day training together with 16 teachers from 8 community education centers of Katholiek Onderwijs Vlaanderen and 5 colleagues from Karaliaus Mindaugo Centras. Through intensive collaboration and practice-oriented sessions, the participants have now become true prompt engineers – an essential skill in the AI era! It was an experience full of new insights, international connections, and innovative solutions.

Anneleen (administration) went to see how reception staff in Greta Besançon, France attract, inform, and support trainees. Looking over the wall is always enlightening, makes you think, makes you aware of your own strengths, and inspires new actions.

Colleagues Christine and Olivier (NT2) participated in the inspiring KA1 mobility program ‘AI for Language Teachers’ in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, in January 2025. Together with Flemish and Spanish language teachers from adult education, they explored how artificial intelligence can enrich language teaching.
In February, Hedwig (Hungarian, Didactics) and Liesbeth (Programming and Recruitment) traveled to Bursa (Turkey) for an inspiring training on project-based learning.

"Don't be afraid, just do it." That's the motto of Tom Naberink and Marcel Mutsaarts from the podcast series AI-tussenuurtje. Last week, colleagues Pili (Spanish) and Katrien (French, ICT) in Nijmegen were immersed together with 18 teachers from the adult education centers of Katholiek Onderwijs Vlaanderen during an AI bootcamp in building GPTs in ChatGPT, creating educational apps in Claude, and much more! They saw and experienced the power, possibilities, and challenges of AI.
